A Man's Guide to Writing a Love Letter

You don't have to write poetry or be a literary genius. All you have to do is write down how you feel about her. I'm going to give you some common examples of how we as men feel when we're hopelessly in love. After that, I'm going to show you how to put those feelings into words that will melt her heart. Trust me, if you pull this off and do it right, you'll earn a LOT of points with your lady.

Just how does she make you feel? It's really quite simple. I'll give you some examples of how you may feel and show you how to write that down.

You Think About Her Constantly When You're Not Together With Her.

Here's how you put that into words that you write to her. "Throughout the day, when I'm working, It's difficult to concentrate. I watch the clock anticipating quitting time when I can drive home to your beautiful face waiting for me." "I look forward to my breaks and lunch time when I can call you and hear your voice." Now you can change these around a bit to make them a little more your style but you get the idea.

You Look Forward To Coming Home To Her

"When the day is done, I walk quickly to my car. I drive a bit faster than I should and take a shortcut because I look so forward to seeing you at home waiting for me".

Now I want you to think of something. If she is your wife or your live in girlfriend, who cooks the meals? Who does the laundry? Who keeps the house clean? Yeah, I know you pick up after yourself but who is it that vacuums and dusts the house? Who cleans up after dinner? That's right, It's likely HER. She works full time, and she does that, and a lot more. If you have kids with her, it's even more amazing what she does.

Let her know that you appreciate all that she does for you. Let her know that she's a great wife or girlfriend. Let her know that your children are fortunate to have her for their mom. Tell her that she is a great mom if you two have children. Here's an example:

"I know that I don't say it enough (Her name here), but I so appreciate all that you do for me and the kids. You're the first one up in the morning and the last one to bed. You work full time, you keep the house clean, you pick up the kids at day care (or school), and you have a hot dinner on the table for me when I come home. You clean up after dinner and make the kid's lunches before bed." It may be more or less that she does but you can wing it.

Let's put it all together.

Dear (her name),

It's not easy for me to write a letter like this but I'll try. I know I don't say it enough, sometimes I try but the words just don't come out right. I just want you to know that I love you. I love you as much as I did the day I married you if not more. I work hard all day at my job but the only thing I can think about is what you and the kids mean to me. I stare at the clock all day just waiting for 5:30pm to come around so that I can come home to you and the kids. No matter how difficult the day has been, when I walk through that door and see your face, I'm reminded how much I love you and what you mean to me. You work so hard. You take care of the kids, you keep the house clean, you cook our meals, do our laundry, clean up after dinner and so much more. All of that and you work full time too. Sometimes I wish I could go back in time. Not to change anything but to fall in love with you all over again. If tomorrow I lost everything, I would still feel like the luckiest man in the world because I have been loved by you. I love you (her name). Always and forever.

Then sign your name.

You can make that letter longer or shorter but in that letter, you let her know how much you love her and that you appreciate her and all she does. It's much easier to write down how you feel than it is to say it. If you write a love letter like this to her, she'll keep it forever. You'll be a hit with her, her family and her friends.
