A Masonic Masterpiece for Guests

Harold Dean Sink
Water, sand and limestone are mixed,
For mortar is required for all the bricks.
A single pattern, or maybe two,
Will accentuate the house for me and you.
The mason is careful not to make such a mess.
His trowel glides along to fill the abscess.
The loud grinder cuts each honed brick
Into smaller pieces for symmetrical tricks.
The larger stone, gaping in style,
Finds it place up high and down as a stile.
The partitions are in place for each room
So others can have their own outdoor day-room.
Conspicuously they may seem to protrude.
Guest will feel welcomed, and feel the intrude.
