Honolulu, Hawaii-President, Barack Obama and family are scheduled to arrive here tomorrow, Thursday of December 24, 2009 to celebrate the holidays in the island.

The first family was supposed to fly today, but, the President wanted to stay in Washington await the fate of the health care reform bill in the senate.

The President's entire entourage has a booking at Westin Moana Surfrider in Waikiki; yet, he opts to stay with his family in the same beach house at Kailua where they stayed last year.

He also expressed his wish to surf but, then stressed that he likewise doesn't want to give secret service a hard time and make other beach goers, both locals and tourists feel uncomfortable of his presence.

This holiday visit in Hawaii will be his first after he took oath of office, and his last was when his grandmother, Madelyn Dunham died a day before he was elected as the 44th President of the United States, November 3, 2008.

The President was born in the Aloha state and spent his childhood days here with his late grandmother prior to staying in Indonesia with his mom.

Meanwhile, Kristy Lee Roshia, 35 years of age and a Kailua resident was arrested for threatening to kill the First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Roshia allegedly called the Secret Service's Boston office last month and told the receptionist "I will kill Michelle Obama" and "I will kill Marines," as stated in the sworn affidavit of the Secret Service according to AP.

She was charged with threatening a family member of the President and an assault of a federal agent after attacking the latter during her arrest. Roshia was being held with no bail pending today's detention hearing.
