I'll tell you what you see.
You see a ridiculous kid, who thinks he knows it all.
He can't help but to relive his past, memory after memory.
Shedding the layers, he sees the little boy that loved playing outside and making new friends.
His innocence never really felt innocent, even though his conscious told him otherwise.
He loved his family, although for some reason he never showed it.
Maybe that was just how he was brought up, maybe just out of spite.
This disadvantage eventually caught up to him, brought his spirit down.
Put the layers back on, cover up your true self.
No one wants to see the ugly insides.
I can't believe they didn't see this coming..
