The Lefkoe method is used for tracing back to events that lead to a belief which caused a person to behave and feel the way they do currently. What the Lefkoe method does is that it discovers what events lead to a certain belief, and empowers that person to drop that belief, eliminating the existence of the behavior and feeling.
According to research, beliefs are what govern our emotions and behaviors. These beliefs are a result of past occurrences a person had experienced repeatedly. For example, in the case of a person's fear of public speaking, this person might of experienced occurrences which then resulted in a belief that person has of public speaking. That belief he or she has, influences their emotions and behaviors, which in this case is fear or anxiety towards public speaking.
There are some that claimed that the benefits of the Lefkoe method are just too hard to believe and sounds impossible. One claim came from Paul r. Scheele, the chairman of learning strategies corporation, which specializes in personal growth and development. He was eager to find out if the Lefkoe method was possible. So, he approached Morty Lefkoe for a demonstration of the process. To his surprise, Paul Scheele managed to eliminate the belief that was troubling him for all of his life.
He was able to perform his tasks easily, without a sign of any negative emotions or thoughts.
The Lefkoe method consists of the following steps, according to some published articles on the process:
1. Uncover the beliefs by looking back to what past events you have experienced.
2. Imagine what life would have been then and could be today if those events never happened. Describe them either on paper or aloud to a tape recorder.
3. Read or listen to what you have written or said. Keep repeating this step for at least ten minutes or more.
The Lefkoe Method is a very powerful process for uncovering what has troubled you for many years, and then eliminate that problem, allowing you to perform and live more efficiently.
By applying this process in your quest to eliminate your fear of public speaking, you will be able to drop the belief and speak publicly without fear.
