A Million Dollar Script

At the age of six I had my first venture inside the cinemahall. That day is still fresh in my memory. The sight of the big screenstaring at me made me jump and my excitement was giving me goosepimples. I stood in amazement when the hero slashed his enemies had put them all at mercy single-handedly. I was overwhelmed at the reunion ofthe hero and heroine at the end of the movie. But with age and intellectual maturity I have realized that movies churned out by the Bollywood industry is nothing but a piece of junk. I there by take a resolve to bring resurgence in Bollywood movies with my freshideas and scripts. I made an attempt to this in the following I am writing a script punctuated with new ideas in between and I am sure movie made out of this would make a history..........

Two familieswere once living in the city of joy, Kolkata. Both of them were very rich and lived in mansions. Now I am going to into their family history. The family having the surname of 'Chappalwalla' were once paupers but with the arrival of Lakshmi (name of the daughter) their fortunes changed and they became the owners of the 'Chappalwalla Company'. Their family comprises of mother (Lakhani), father (Batalal), their two sons(Sonu and Gopu) and their angel like daughter Lakshmi. Then comes the family having the surname of 'Massalawalla'. This family had to undergo trauma and depression as one of the two sons died due to car accident and at an early age their daughter was found missing. The family now had a mother (Kesariya), a father (Dhaniyalal) and only a son (Arjun). Few years go by and the sons and daughters of the families complete their school life and decides to shape up their future in the reputed Bhawwanipore College. Love in first sight was inevitable. The canteen was the place where Lakshmi and Arjun were to meet for the first time. Arjun was smitten of Lakshmi's charms and Lakshmi was hooked by Arjun's moustache and beard. Bhawwanipore college which is known for it's generosity when it comes to the unofficial rights of bunking by the students, was the heaven for the two love birds as they were alwaysf ound coochie - cooing each other in the premises of the college (songs would be played in between these love sequences). After a year both the families come to know there wards eternal love story. Objections'regarding the marriage of Arjun and Lakshmi was out of question, as both the families were rich and famous.

But don't let your nerves go down for this story has a different turn in the end. 1st April 1999 wasdecided as the official meeting of the two souls and the two families namely 'Chappalwallas' and 'Massalawallas' (I would like to tell u that this story has no connection with April fool). With lot pomp and show the marriage ceremony was arranged. Mr. Batalal and Mrs. Lakhani, Sonu and Gopu were all filled with tears (I am making a digress. Crying is the art, which needs tough handling. I would there fore like to callupon the likes of Parvati's, Tulsi's and Kkusum' s to make crying in themovie sentimental as well as enjoyable.) At the time of Mahurat the bride weighed with humungous jewellery comes down the central staircase of the mansion. The people were goggling at her from the hall. Among them Mrs. Kesariya was also staring at her searchingly. Mrs. Kesariya went berserk as she ran up the stairs and embraced her would be bride. The people down stared at them with amazement and curiosity. Here comes the twist in the tail. Mrs. Kesariya dropped the bombshell by declaring her bride Lakshmi to be her lost daughter. She raised Lakshmi's hand. The people saw a mark on her hand, which Mrs. Kesariya explained to be the birthmark of her daughter. The marriage ceremony turned into acelebration of Masallawa's lost and found daughter. The dejected Arjun took some comfort by the arrival of her lost sister. The story thus ends in a happy note. This script if made into a movie would raise the sagging status of the Bollywood industry. I am only charging 1 million rupees for this script and it is going top be first come first serve basis. So producers hurry up!!!!
