A Mission For Money

Dear uncle, dear uncle, much thanks for your gift,

Your money is welcome with me.

As you know I have struggled to make ends meet,

But money's not my cup of tea.

Paycheck to paycheck is how I live now,

And have lived for most of my life.

To just pay my bills is struggle enough,

There's none left to have me a wife.

So, thanks for your gift, to me of great wealth,

But, sadly, I must turn it down.

It's nothing personal, I assure you of that,

To earn it a task I am bound.

Your gift is most welcome, but here is the hitch,

In good conscience I can't do your mission.

As much as I love you and your money, too,

A sex change for me I'm not wishin'.

So, keep your money and long life to you.

Enjoy your luxurious things.

And I'll get by sans material stuff.

My body parts being my bling.

And one day soon I hope to see

My future altar looms.

A bride for me to share my life,

And me still completely a groom.
