A Moment in Time!!

I was all alone, so my girlfriend and I decided to go to the theatre. It was an exciting production and right beside me sat this charming man. He was absolutely delightful and entertaining. Not wanting to seem to interested or to assertive, I decided to keep watching the performance.

Of course I made all the stupid blunders that I usually make. Like spilling my soda all over the floor and causing his overcoat to get wet. But he was charming and tactful. A truly delightful gentleman. A voice that soothed your soul.

After we left the show, I thought about him for quite a while. I also thought about the trouble I would get into, if I decided to get a little more acquainted.

Then, a few days later, I was walking down the street and toward me, he started to walk. He said, "Well, how do you do". I was so delighted to see him and decided to walk with him up the street. Well, we walked and walked half-way around town. And My face lit up like I had just eaten a big Icecream sundae. He then escorted me to my car and as we parted, I couldn't help but remember those few moments that we spent together.

He was so dignified and so tall and quite nice looking, with a sense of humor I might add. Dressed so sharp and standing straight and tall. I wondered where he had been all my life.

One, beautiful afternoon, my husband and I decided to go shopping and there he was again. He smiled, and i was just tickled pink to see him.

Then one night, when my husband was at work, a knock came at my door. I said, " just a minute". I thought It must be the mailman with a package or something. I opened the door there he stood. I didn't quite no what to do, but I let him in, and we had a quiet evening alone, to sit and talk and laugh. He said he would be back again, and i couldn't wait.

So I went to bed, and thought about him all night, but I decided it was a little dangerous, to dream so. As, my husband might catch on.

Then about a week later, when I had almost forgot about him, There he was again, asking for directions. I was so pleased.

He asked me if I would like to go get a bite to eat. And I couldn't change my cloths fast enough. But was ready in record time. We went to a local place, that had soft music and we danced for hours. In his arms for hours.

I barely remember what we ate, but it was such a beautiful evening, that I almost cryed when he left me at the door. he kissed me ever so gently and I could feel buterflies going up my spine. Spell bound. His eyes were so exciting and so blue, and so filled with excitement that I was in dream land.

When my husband came home I went to bed, and drifted off to sleep, with a big smile on my face. I was so happy!!
I had waited years for this very moment and here it was. My prince charming had finally arrived.

A man my age or younger, looking so perfect, that I could barely catch my breath. We arranged to meet, and took a carriage ride, in the city. I was suppose to be out shopping. But, decided to fidge a little.

Again, He took me in his arms, and caressed me, until I was in heaven. Time almost stopped, a moment in time, to enjoy every touch of his hand, every touch of his lips. I wonder how far this relationship will go. Who knows?

You see I hadn't really done anything wrong, I was just being friendly, and would like to be a little more friendly, but of course i am just a married women with not much time left. But, I can't think of a better way to spend my time,, then to spend it in the arms of the man I love.
