A Morning of Confusion
Today was a mixed emotions kind of day
Well, this morning anyway.
First I hear, President Obama has won
The Nobel Peace Prize of 2009.
Then I find, to my gloom
That we have bombed the moon!
What does America stand for?
I am beginning to wonder.
Our President strives for peace.
And we want to destroy space.
I am happy to agree with the President
But to destroy the moon, I protest.
We should care for Earth first
She has water to quench our thirst.
Let's enjoy the Moon's splendor
And stop tampering with Mother Nature.
