Happy Mother's Day Mom
And a devilishly wicked smile
My mother is a beauty
For which my dad would walk a mile
Mom finds humor every day
Her laughter fills the air
Family time was joyous
We didn't have a care
Fun loving and responsible
Is how we all were raised
Loving life and playing
Joy filled all our days
Humble beginnings shaped us
Saving nickels, saving dimes
No problem cutting corners
Off the sale rack every time
Money wasn't everything
Our upbringing taught us more
Focus was on values
Love each other was the score
Happy Mother's Day my mother
My source and biggest fan
My friend and my true confidant
You taught me that I can
