In My Memories Forever
My mother has long ago gone
from this earth
in body
but not in my heart..
from this earth
in body
but not in my heart..
My memories of my mother
may not be as some
we never travelled to far places
but we did spend summers
in the Catskills
There is one special event
that happened between
mom and me
and I laugh whenever I think of it
and get the uncontrollable
giggles when I try to tell it
I would like to share it
I know you would laugh
But this is just between me and mom
who looks down, smiles and
tells me....

My mother was only 20 years older than me but I always thought of her as being old. Now that I too am old, I look at her picture and realize just how young she actually had been. I miss her still and always will.
