A fragrance of love so soothing and sweet
Silky, like the feel of her hair
The most wonderful woman you'd ever meet
A beautiful flower, she is now gone
The pain is deep - you miss her so much
Although you know that her spirit lives on,
you long to feel her comforting touch
Her softness was like that of a rose;
smooth, delicate - sometimes taken for granted
And how much you miss her, few really know;
tears flood the heart where love was planted
But her sparkle can still be found in your eyes
And her glow emanates from your smile
You'll carry the best part of her for life;
she will be there with you all the while
She speaks to you in the stillness of the night
And sends birds to serenade you at sunrise
From dusk till dawn she is by your side
A mother's love never truly dies
