A Mother's Prayer

Tammy
Mother's Day Poem

If only I could be,

One half the Mother you were to me.

I have two boys you've never met,

The best two gifts I could ever get.

I know you can see them from where you are,

I just wish you were closer rather than so far.

I tell them about you everyday,

And I never run out of things to say.

Each night before they go to sleep,

I pray for a memory they'll always keep.

The memory I pray for them to have,

Is I am the Mother you were to me.

I love that you celebrate her memory - strengths and warmest details to your children. There's nothing better than being proud and grateful for the time you had with the life she led. Beautiful.

I am so sorry for your loos, I loss my mother several years ago and I still remember her smile the first time she saw my son, and the love that she bestowed upon all of her grandchildren. Remember that your Mom is ever watching you and taking care of you even today....God Bless Cathy
