A Mother's Tears

A Mother's Tears

Mothers are so special to the heart of God.

From the very first Mother( Eve) to the Mothers of today.

God is so concerned with their lives He is there to wipe every tear of heartache away.

Not all are tears of heartache. Some are tears of joy.

For example, when she first sees her tiny girl or maybe the first glimpse of her baby boy.

There may have been some tears of joy; earlier; on her wedding day.

Well, whether they were tears of joy or nervous tears we really can't say.

Then there are tears of a little sadness mixed with a lot of pride the first day she sends one off to school.

There to learn reading, writing and math.

Mom has already taught them the golden rule.

Then it's tears of so much pride as she sees each one graduate and mature.

This scene is repeated the world over with God watching for sure.

There are tears of pain each time she has to kiss a hurt or watch over a sick child in bed.

So many times Mom wishes it could only be her instead.

It is so hard for a Mom to watch her child go down some wrong roads in life.

She can only watch and pray.

It seems what she has taught has been forgotten but, Mom, rest assured some of your teaching will stay.

The fact is, the child has to learn some things the hard way , making mistakes on their own.

They will have to face the consequences of their actions. That is part of being mature and grown.

You may think your place, as Mom is finished, but not quite yet.

Now you can be a best friend. How much better can life get?

The best is yet to come as your name is changed from Mom to Grandmom in such a short while.

There are those special tears of joy as you hold your first Grandchild.

There are also times when a Mom has to release a child back to God.

That has to be the most heartbreaking tears of all.

Her only consolation is knowing she will see them again in Heaven at final roll-call.
