I can guarantee you've never seen so many librarians in one place! On September 29th, over 120,000 lovers of literacy from across the nation joined the Library of Congress and First Lady Laura Bush on the Mall for the 6th annual National Book Festival.

Great authors, like David Baldacci, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Jodi Piccoult, and David Weisner greeted and signed tomes for bibliophiles, while the kids took a tour of reading around the map in the Pavilion of States, visited with PBS characters and took a ride on Scholastics' Magic Schoolbus.

It was a day of fun and learning for the whole family with the unique and historical backdrop of the Capitol City.
