Royal Oak has a number of support groups which meet on different days and times. These include support groups for people who suffer from Parkinson's disease or have loved ones who do, as well as support groups for diabetics and their families. Other support groups include grief recovery, divorce support groups for parents and children (age or school grade restrictions may sometimes exist in these), and various cancer support groups.
Support groups can give you an opportunity to talk to others who can truthfully say, "I know exactly what you are going through, or have been through," because they do. You can get information and advice that may make it easier for you and your family as you go through difficult times.
