A Use for O'Doul's

How many bottles of O'doul's in my fridge is in direct correlation to the frequency of my father in law's visits.
Currently there are 4 bottles in my home, meaning, that he stopped over twice in the past few months.
I knew that a purchase of one 6 pack, would last for six visits from my in-laws. Not a bad deal, and considering my mother in law drinks tea, something that I am never lacking, I knew my hospitality could not be questioned.

At least, that's how it was.

Last night in doing some frantic googling, trying to discover a way to rid my home of nasty little fruit flies...I came across beer, as a remedy. Apparently, those little buggers like beer. I figured by the time they realized it was non alcoholic, it would be too late for them to get away.

So, I opened a bottle and poured it into a container, added a drop of vegetable oil, as suggested, and left it on my counter. Fly Guys All Night Open Bar. The salad dressing is to help trap the minuscule monsters.

It worked.

I sacrificed my only saving grace, a cold bottle of O'Doul's on the ready. But it's a small price to pay for a pesk free kitchen.
