In the land called Middle East
Let this be the year
We won't have to fear
Help President Obama, and his whole team
Work together, and launch a brand new theme
The land of Israel longs to stand tall
Let it stand for peace, once and for all
As Passover time, will arrive in the spring
Let 's send our prayers, to soldiers fighting
We remember when Moses was chased to the sea
And then, it parted; this was meant to be
His people were safe
They had found a new place
Wandered the desert ,so hot and so dry
Forty years passed, Israel was seen by their eyes
They approached this new land
All together, hand and hand
They made it their home
And would never have to roam
This was the Promised Land
And forever let it stand
Don't take it away
We still pray today
Let us all strive for peace,
In the land called Middle East
Let this be the year
We won't have to fear
Happy Passover to all, and may this be the year of peace in the Middle East
