So What Makes 'A Peaceful Pet' Unique?
It is a cage-free grooming facility where small dogs (and cats) are catered to while their owners wait for them in a home-like environment. Sandy Stutz, the owner and groomer, makes sure that small dogs (and their owners) are relaxed by using soothing music and calming incense like Sandalwood. Stutz believes that the less stressed the dog's parents are, the less stressed the dogs will be. Snacks and hot tea are available for the humans while they wait for their fur babies to be groomed.
Stutz is a National Certified Master Groomer with over 25 years of experience in the industry; and interestingly enough, she is also an artist. Stutz's artwork (along with pieces by other artists like Adine Rotman and Deborah Bright) will be displayed at A Peaceful Pet. Stutz holds several certificates including Sporting, Non-Sporting, Terriers and National Certified Master Groomer (NCMG) so you know your canine kid will be in good hands.
Stutz noticed throughout her years as a groomer that some dogs and cats do not do well in a traditional pet salon environment. According to Stutz, sometimes pets have separation anxiety and even worse, it is as a result of their owners being stressed about leaving them. So with that in mind, Stutz created an earth-friendly, calming environment for small dogs and their owners.
The products Sandy Stutz uses are all natural, botanical, organic, biodegradable, recycled, and recyclable. And to top it off, they are all made in America.

Sounds like the perfect place to groom your dog!
Very cool idea. And, by the way, every year I feel like I am adding extra eye make up. By the time I am sixty I'll be able to chisel it off my face!
