A Penny Could Be Worth $80,000?

Cathy Pelekakis
I was cleaning out our attic and I found a jar of coins that my brother had left here before he joined the Navy in 1963, one of his tours was to Viet Nam. Anyway these coins were just sitting underneath an old chest, so we decided take them to our den and see what was actually there. There were a bunch of old Lincoln pennies (1941-1950 before I was born) the ones with the wheat symbol on the back. I don't see many pennies today in circulation that have the wheat symbol on the back. That got me interested and I looked at some sites on the internet.

I found that if you had a 1943 S copper Lincoln Head penny it is worth upwards of $80,000.00. I was absolutely amazed, that is when I got out the magnifying glass to see if there were any 1943-S's in my collection. I was not that lucky. The jar conained almoust $100.00 in change, but the worth of the other coins total value was around $2200.00, if I were to take them to a coin dealer. Not bad for leaving a jar of coins sit around for almost forty years and not know they were in the attic.

So the object of this message is to check those coins out before you give them to a bank as a roll of pennies. You may be lucky enough to find that elusive 1943-S Copper Lincoln head penny, you may be able to pay off your home.

The Path Few Choose to Pursue: Business Greatness
    From: Jay Abraham
Subject: The Path Few Choose to Pursue: Business Greatness
    Hi Roberto Sotelo,

I'm not certain you're going to like everything I'm
about to say; but I'm sharing it from the heart.

Most people in business are content merely to get
by. They don't really want to be a leading force
    in their market.

Most business owners say they want their business
to be special, distinctive, far more valuable to
their marketplace - but they do very little (if
    anything) to achieve that goal.

Most business owners seem happy with whatever sales
the market chooses to give them.

And frankly, when you operate your business in a
mediocre way - you are lucky to get whatever
business and income you make. Few people who run
mediocre businesses make a lot of income.

Few people who run mediocre businesses are
    fulfilled, proud, or joyous.

Most struggle throughout their lives in that quiet
    desperat

i have a friend with 8 huge jars of pennies that his dad started collecting when the dad was a small boy and then my friend added to it over the years ... i keep bugging him to look at them b/c i bet there are some old ones in there that could be worth some money. i asked him to leave them to me in his will if he's not going to look at them. LOL
