A Perfect Place to Have that Fulfilling Rest

Many people nowadays find it difficult to set aside time to rest-I mean relax and do something that does not require physical or mental energy. Some people have divided their daily hours into sixteen working hours (eight under employment or income generating activities and eight for personal chores) and eight sleeping hours. To increase the level of income, others have slashed the eight sleeping hours down to six or four, and added the extra to the working hours. In order to make others feel better and know that they are under medically approved lifestyle, they have gone to the extreme of considering that the daily exercise time is the resting time. But daily rest time should be allocated and cherished as any other time of the day.

Each person needs to work, and therefore rest. As God planned that a man shall work for six days and rest one day, so each day also a man should work for some good amount of time and set a side some time to rest. The daily rest time should not be confused with the weekly, for the weekly rest time does not imply total abstinence from work but total dedication of the day's activities to the work of God (worship, praise and serving others for the purpose of salvation) whereas the daily rest in which I am interested in here is the total abstinence from mental and physical rest. Each day, each person should allocate up to about one hour and not less than thirty minutes of rest time, preferably in the evening between five and seven.

Rest time is beneficial for personal concentration and reflection. For a Christian, this time can be utilized by personal communion with God (not undergoing any kind of bible studies), talking to him and calling upon his name. for a couple, it may be the daily time when the two take a walk in the garden appreciating the flowers, or in a forested land watching the birds, or just an individual sitting somewhere on a rock, or on a tree trunk, or on a chair outside the house looking at the sky, the mountains, the valleys, people walking up and down, or just being with an old friend having those sweet memories.

Having some rest in a forested or bushy area not only give you that much desired appreciation of nature, but also act as medicine. It is from such places that you can train yourself to breathe deeply constantly, taking much of the oxygen being emanated from trees and other plants into your lungs. The natural scent will give you a satisfaction that will in turn reduce your level of stress and depression and thereby making you immune to stress caused ailments.
Some people accumulate rest time and put more effort at work, and after working for about 11 months, take one month as leave period. This month is taken so that he can travel the world and enjoy nature to its fullest, but this ought not to be the case. In case this kind of leave is granted, then the best thing to do with it is to be with your loved ones and let you improve on your skills when you will get back at work. The rest looked for after the nine months should be a daily thing and the benefits will come to you. And remember, as I say that you should daily rest, means that you should also daily exercise you muscles!
