A Picture Perfect Way to Organize Your Homes Entryway

Mrs. Renee

Coming up with creative ways to organize your homes entry way can really be challenging. Especially if there is not that much space in the doorway of your home. However I have found that every home needs an area where you can hang up your keys, and hat, and other items when you come into the home. The benefit of having a space to put all of these items is that you will not have to worry about losing stuff, or finding items when in a hurry.

An old picture frame really makes for a great way to give the area a neat look. If you don't have an old picture frame lying around the house, then perhaps you can purchase one from your local dollar store. Try to get a frame that will nicely compliment the colors that you already have in your living room. You don't want it to stand out and look odd, but to blend nicely. Get a frame that is large enough to fit several hooks in the middle. The frame should have no cover, and no back. All you want on the wall is the frame itself. Hang the frame in an area that is closest to the door. Place several hooks from one end of the frame to the other. I have found it to be a good idea to get both small hooks, and large hooks. This way you will also be able to hang hats, and scarves during the cooler months. The smaller hooks will be able to hold your keys and other little items.

This will help you to sort and organize small items while leaving your entryway looking nice. If you choose not to have one large picture frame why not try a set of frames. You can put different size or shaped frames by the door and tier the frames. This will help to give the entryway a unique look. There are many different ways that you can use the frames to give your entryway a picture perfect look. There are several things that you will want to avoid hanging on these hooks. During the winter months you will want to make sure that no heavy coats, or snow suits are hung on the coats. This can add water stains to the wall, and even end up damaging the frame itself. Remember that he space you designate for the frame should be use for smaller items that can easily get lost.
