A Pig's Tail Part II (Free Verse)

Folks we're continuing to cover local Pharleem news.

It's an awesome sight! The Pork Chop Plants

Are blazing and the smells of the burning plants

Are thick in the air. In fact, the hungry militia

Have taken to pulling ribs or chops

Off the plants, smoothering the flames,

And munching on the steaming veggie chops.

The farmers are furious. They try to call the police,

Then they realize the police are already here,

Chewing and offering them steaming slabs

Of roast pig plant. Look, over there,

Someone has bought bottles of wine,

and cold lemonade. I'm being offered

An ice cold bottle of the local beer,

Phlingo. Thank you, sir. Very tasty.

Here's a new development folks. See to the left,

Farmers and militia are singing the Pharleem

Version of The Whiffenpoof Song, together,

Arms around each others' shoulders.

Some of the militia are asking their leader

If they can set fire to the Vegetarian Steak

Bushes. You won't believe this folks,

But there's a farmer who is setting fire

To his own Steak Plant! Could I have another Phlingo, please?

Thank you. Now they are working together

Setting up long tables with fresh salads,

Horse radish, steak sauce - and OH!

Is that cold watermelon! Quartets

Continue to spring up, now singing Pharleem

Phloke shlongs. ~ HIC! ~ Say, fellow,

Are there any of those ribs left?

And the camera man asks could

You give him one of the steaks -

With the flames out please?

A militia office Is trying to say somehing.

He says if you're In the neighborhood, drop on by! *HIC!*

Shay,I know that shong. Why don't we go join 'em?

Bring the camera and the mike...grab a piece of watermelon...
