A Poem for Bobbie

You Spoke to Me (Without Words)

Teresa Mahieu
When you were new

You spoke to me

With the pitch of your cry,

"I'm hungry".

When you were young

You spoke to me

With head hung down

"I'm sorry mommy".

When you grew

You spoke to me

With the wave of a hand

"Not now mom, I'm busy".

When you became a mother

You spoke to me

With just a smile

"She's here mom, and she's perfect."

Today you spoke to me

With the look in your eyes

And I heard you loud and clear

"Mommy I'm scared".

Me too babygirl, me too......

This has been floating around in my thoughts for a few days and I was finally able to put it together on paper.

Live each day as if there is no tomorrow, pray each day to be given another. Cherish your loved ones and be kind to one another.

Please pray for Bobbie. She is a daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, cousin, wife, mother and friend to many. She has a tumor on her brain. She is in pain, confused, uncomfortable, scared. There is so much more to say, so much more left to do. Time, I just want more time, she wants more time. Please pray for Bobbie.

Teresa, I got your message today, checked your blog and saw the note about Bobbie. I see this poem is a year old. Can you update me on Bobbie's condition. Would love to pray.
