Oh little creature
You don't even know how much you have brightened up my days
Just by your mere existence
You have brought me pure joy in so many ways
I love the sound of your meow
And the hum of your gentle purr
When you are lying on my lap
And I am stroking your soft fur
I like the way we play
When I wave your feather toy around
You jump up to bat at it and do funny flips
And then land safely back on the ground
I like when you brush against my leg in the morning
When you want to be fed
I love how you cuddle up next to me
While I am lying in bed
I feel like you just know
When I am feeling down
Because those are the times
That you always come around
Oh little creature
Without you, what would I do?
You probably don't even know
Just how very much I love you
