A Poem for Halloween

A Halloween Ditty

Halloween is almost here; time for horrors time for fear.
Witches and Skeletons dance in the sky while children trick-or-treat nearby.

Years' end is coming fast; Summer sun will no longer last.
Ghouls and Ghosts go bump in the night, spreading mayhem, mischief, and fright.

Hide your face from prying eyes; allure, beguile, and terrorize.
Let the season leave it's mark with shadows dancing in the dark.

Halloween is almost here, time for horrors, time for fear.
Leaves blow through a moonlit sky and all know that winter is nigh.
