A Poem, Japanese Garden

Have You Ever Been to a Japanese Garden. This Poem is a Different Kind of Poetry

A Japanese Garden
With a Bamboo tea house,
Overlooking the water,
Serenity,
Tranquility,
Quietly soothing yours inner spirit.

Red, Orange and White Koas
Just below the surface,
Swimming,
Schooling,
Flowing with a childlike spirit.

Nearby a Garden made of stone
And smooth raked sand,
Calming,
Thinking,
Meditating with your inner spirit.

Temples of the soul built
As Spirit houses on the water
Caressing,
Soothing
Fulfilling your ancestor's spirit.

Graceful weeping willow, acers,
Cedars and cherry blossoms trees,
Drooping,
Flowering,
Displaying natures own sweet spirit.

Your poem evokes the tranquility and simplicity of bamboo gardens that are relaxing and provide escape from daily cares. I enjoyed the visual and sensual details you included.

Japanese gardens are so striking, with their sparseness and beauty. Nice description in these lines. (By the way, I mentioned you with a link in a recent article on AC poetry and page views.) I love to read what you have written! ;-)
