A Poem for Mother's Day

For You Mom

Mr. Chip's
Happy Mother's Day Mom

Yes I cannot count how many times I have said that to you

But now as I am getting to become a gray haired old guy

With my loving family in tow

It is even more special Grandmother and mother-n-law

Yes dad gave me alot of things

Like taking care of your family

Being a good provider

Serving your country

Believing in God

And even when you are under adversity or in fear

Doing the right thing and not backing down

But mom you put it all in perspective

And I am sure Dad won't mind

You taught me how to be a kind father

To balance both my teaching with my discipline

To not be afraid to show my emotions

And sometimes a man has to cry

To show humility

And to forgive

So I wish you well on your day

And many happy returns to you throughout the year

May all your Mother's Days be special

And may all those days continue to be many.

(Written in honor and dedicated to my Mother and my Mother-N-law and in honor of all Mother's be they in a better place, present or those mother's of the future,God Bless You all)
