A Poem for No One

Gretchen Lee Bourquin
She walked in
and they went blind
each group suspended
in a bubble
encased in force fields
impenetrable

And she
like a ghost
screams
wails her arms in the air
and cries
to deaf ears

Lays down
melts
until she's ground
into the earth
