A Poem that I Would Never Admit to Writing in Real Life
It's a Love Poem: Previously Published Elsewhere and with Positive Praise/commentary
You're a heart, a dove, a flower.
You're an angel in disguise.
It's pure bliss to be your lover,
And see sparkles in your eyes.
You're an angel in disguise.
It's pure bliss to be your lover,
And see sparkles in your eyes.
Heaven does unfurl as your eyes so softly curl
In a misty love for your lips...
and the spark of life in your fingertips.
Your body, molded as the clouds
That all acknowledge with joyous sounds.
Your spacious mind that none can bind
Via their mortal mental glide.
This poem's short because I see
Your radiance encircling me.
And I can't write, nay speak;
nay engage in any mental throes.
While blissful heaven within me flows.
But I'll confess with one line richer,
That all these feelings stem from your picture.

Post a CommentVery good writing, I like the twist at the end. The feelings that can come from just the image of someone we love, cool!
