that need to be said.
So many words
stuck in my head.
A poet lost in words
There's someone special
you can't write about.
You sit and think
but nothing will come out.
A poet lost in words
There's no one to listen
to a story being told.
No one to hear you
the picture is old.
A poet lost in words
Just get out some paper
and a pencil or pen
and write about life
or that special friend.
A poet lost in words
Paper always listens
a pencil never scolds,
you tell it what you want
and it does whatever it's told.
