'Despondency Inside My Dream'

Last night, I had a dream that I died
I was stabbed in the chest with a knife
When I stared, as the person cried
I looked and saw, it was I

But the tears were slow and controlled
One by one, on the cheek they did roll
No words, but the story was told
He gave, much more than he stole

When I look at the one that was me
He was glowing with a smile of great glee
He screamed with great force "Finally!"
A tear rolled and he said "Now You are Free!"

But darkness was beginning to fall
As I curled up on the floor into a ball
And then he said: "Worry not, it's alright.."
"There is Darkness, before a Great Light"

His smile grew a thousand times strong
But to me the feeling was horridly wrong
I then had a vision of angels singing a song
About hate and love and waiting for so long

As all the blood started to pour
And as my soon to be corpse hit the floor
He said: "On the sadness.. you must pull the cord"
"To allow a new mental state to soar"

I screamed yes.. of course.. I see
"But why did you have to kill me!"

Into my dream this fool tried to flee

"But don't worry.. I have done it.."

"I've killed you.. Mr. Despondency"
