Republican Candidate John McCain
Is running the "Straight Talk Express" campaign.
He says he's a maverick,
But just like this limerick,
He's offering Americans the same old refrain.

He's offering Americans the same old refrain.
He's running with Palin as his VP choice,
And though she may offer a fresh, female voice,
They both support war
and drilling off-shore,
Their ticket can give us no cause to rejoice.
So I will be voting for Barack Obama,
Who says he can fix our economy's trauma,
And get us on track,
And out of Iraq,
And save us from all of this national drama.
