A Politician's Plea for Forgiveness

I'm sorry that I cheated on my family.

I'm sorry that I cheated on my constituents.

I'm sorry that I cheated on my business pals.

I'm sorry that I cheated on my beer buddies.

I'm sorry that I cheated on my next door neighbor's dog Max.

I'm sorry that I cheated on my mistress.

I'm sorry that I cheated on America.

I'm sorry that I cheated on the world.

Please forgive me. I shall repent. Now I'd appreciate it if you would send checks of $25, $50, or $100 to my reelection campaign. I'm sorry to ask for money at a time like this, but I am a moral man who celebrates family values. I must admit though that I was kicked out of my house. My wife was not so forgiving.
