Carol Allen
Mans desire for inner beauty emanates from within. Although some individuals may deny the importance of how they look, many of there actions clearly demonstrates that they do care about how they look.

Searching through the closet for the best outfit, taking a bath, and looking multiple times at the mirror to ensure perfection before leaving the house is enough to show that you want to look good before you leave the house even if it is not as extreme as having your face covered with heavy makeup.

There is nothing wrong with looking good as long as you do not look exaggerated. It is better to give a good impression of yourself when you meet people by looking clean, presentable and lovely since most of us are striving for that fresh and wholesome look. Take these simple steps on how to guarantee looking your best everyday:

1. Get enough sleep the night before preferably the recommended eight hours of sleep. Lack of sleep gives you dark bags under your eyes and makes your face look tired the following day.

2. Eat healthy meals at least three times a day to ensure you are consuming the proper nutrients in order to maintain a healthy body and the right state of mind. Never skip a meal in a day especially breakfast.

3. Style your hair to keep it nice and neat. It doesn't matter whether you use hair styling products or hair straighteners as long as it's maintained clean and neat.

4. Take daily showers to be clean at all times. You can be born looking beautiful but what good is your beauty if you stink?

5. Make sure your clothes are clean and wrinkle-free so you can wear them properly. Check your clothes for stains before wearing them because that can make them look very untidy.

6. Do wear light makeup in the day to match what you are wearing. Try to make it look natural and not overly made up.

7. Floss and brush your teeth before you leave home especially if you are anticipating a meeting with friends, associates or family. Try to gargle after each meal with Listerine or Scope.

8. Wear a smile on your face, hold your head high and walk with confidence at all times. People with a happy disposition can be viewed as attractive to others.

9. Learn to practice grace under fire. Keep your composure and maintain your poise no matter how difficult things may appear at home or at work.

10. Always take the time to relax so that you don't get burnt out no matter what kind of activity you are doing. Learn to handle the many stresses of your job, personnel life or school. Take time to do something you enjoy like reading a book, meeting with a friend, a new hobby, retouching your face with make up or restyle your hair. Grab a coffee or just sit still and take deep breaths or just talk to the man above and say a little prayer. Do anything that can temporarily disconnect you with what is causing the pressure.

All you need is proper management of yourself to look beautiful and presentable on a daily basis and it is easy. You do not have to have a high IQ to figure out how to take care of yourself. If you are intelligent enough to understand the complexities of your job then you can also do well in understanding practical means on how to care for yourself.
