A Prank Letter to Senator Elizabeth Dole

Another of My Prank Letters

(This letter was originally written in very sloppy handwriting, with the original pledge card returned to Senator Dole, a check in the box beside the $15.)

Dear Ms. Dole,

Thank you for your kind leter to me yesterday. I herdly ever get male and I liked reading what I could. Also, plees forgive the bad way I right. It is becaws I cant see too good becaws of a car battery blow up I had in my camaro a few yeers ago.

I had to go and take a brake from this leter -- so I'm back now. I brung more light in heer so I can be more neeter. I got your leter abot cheking the box that says $15, $20, or $30 -- and I think there was a last box that says a lot of words -- but its reel hard for me to see leters -- numbers are lots easyer. I don't know how you found out about my sitation, but I am very thankfull for your kind offer. I'll say yes to the $15. I think that will help with groceries for a week or 2. I would take the $30, but I don't want to be selfish. My mama razed us to be not selfish -- we couldn't be no how becaws there was 12 of us and we didn't have nothing to be selfish with.

So, I'll take the $15 for now and if you want to send $15 in lottery tickets, too that would be grate!!! Take care.
