A Prayer and a Poem for Thanksgiving

Tussy
A Prayer of Thanks

Thank you for instructing me with your wisdom;

Thank you for watching over me when I am scared;

Thank you for listening to me when I pray;

Thank you for defending me when I am attacked;

Thank you for guiding me when I am lost.

Thank you for always being with me,

before me,

in me,

under me,

over me,

on my right,

on my left,

on this side,

on that side,

in front,

at the back ,

all around me.

Thank you for your presence in my life...

Thank you,

Thank you,

Thank you Lord.

A Poem of Thanks

Take a pause to thank the Lord;

For all the things you can afford;

Tell Him you are grateful;

Show Him you are thankful.

In this age of instant things;

'tis easy to ignore His blessings;

Yet, the heart is wonderful;

In nudging it is powerful.

So, thank the Lord, we have to do;

Before its late and time to go;

Better now than later on;

'coz before long we might be gone.
