A Prayer of Thanksgiving to God
Oh God, You are my Lord;
I find you in the quiet of morning.
Today, I come to worship You,
to thank You for blessings beyond
the scope of knowing and love.
On this day, I praise You from
the depths of my soul - my heart
longs for You to hear every word.
Loved ones are with me now
and my cup runs over with joy.
The table set before me is bountiful,
filled with food fit for a great King
and you are that King. I sense Your
presence in our midst and want
You to receive our gratitude as it
flows up to your Heavenly throne.
As this day ends, we are ever
grateful, for you will be with us
into eternity. We'll see loved ones
and dwell with you in our home above.
