A Preview of Jason & Molly's Wedding as Another "Bachelor Couple" Ties the Knot

Jason Mesnick, single father and one of the most controversial bachelors, wed twenty-three-year-old, Molly Malaney in an ocean side wedding this past weekend. The wedding was held at the beautiful Terranea Resort, outside of Los Angeles. Fans will be happy to note that the wedding was televised and will air on ABC on Monday, March 8th. While the weather didn't cooperate, there was reportedly a downpour, the couple looked stunning. Here are some of the wedding details.

The Bride wore a $45,000 dress by Monique Lhuillier

Molly's wedding dress was a custom design by Monique Lhuillier with a reported $45,000 value. The strapless gown featured a full ruffled skirt gathered in an elaborate floral pattern. The lovely bride carried a bouquet of white orchids. Her hair was worn in an elaborate updo with loosely curling tendrils framing her face. The bride walked down the aisle to the song "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

The couple exchanged a pair of Neil Lane wedding rings. The Bachelor host, Chris Harrison hosted the couple's wedding. There were 300 guests including previous Bachelorette couple, Trista and Ryan Sutter, Jillian Harris and Lost star, Evangeline Lilly. One person who was not present was former Bachelor contestant, Melissa Rycroft. If you watched the thirteenth installment of The Bachelor, you know Melissa as the contestant Jason originally chose and then dumped on air for runner up Molly Malaney. The on air "dump" was one of the most notorious moments in Bachelor history.

What happened to the jilted Melissa

Melissa Rycroft happily went on to become a special correspondent for ABC's Entertainment Tonight. She also appeared as a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. Melissa wore a stunning strapless wedding dress by Alfred Angelo to her December beach wedding to Tye Strickland. The couple were married in Mexico.
