A Product Comparison: Generic Aleve vs. Tylenol

Johanna Swith
At one time or another, we all need a general pain reliever. Some of us need a pain reliever more often than the average person. I have heard that the human body produces a chemical that acts as a natural pain killer and I believe this. I have also heard that using any type of pain medication including Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Aleve and prescription medication can begin a never ending cycle, because the introduced medication interferes with the bodies ability to eliminate pain.

I cannot say if this is in fact true. If you do require an over the counter pain medication from time to time, Family Dollar offers a generic version of the popular Aleve brand, called 8 to 12 hour relief. This family dollar label pain reliever is very effective. A bottle of 24 will cost you two dollars, while at the same store Aleve is priced at over four dollars per bottle. Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief contains 220 mg of Naproxen sodium and is an excellent pain reliever. Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief is a great product at a great price. This product exceeded my expectations.

One pill provides relief for about ten hours for me, as the label suggests from 8 to 12 hours of relief. In an entire 24 hour day 2 pills will offer maximum relief while you would need to take 12 Tylenol during the same time period, if Tylenol is your choice in pain management.

I would compare this product, Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief to the brand it is made after, Aleve. I could tell no difference asides from the label and the price. Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief works just as well as Aleve at less than half the price.

Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief is not only an effective product for pain relief but it is also affordable and of an excellent quality. What I like most about Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief is the fact that 2 pills a day, or 3 if pain is extreme, will offer me relief all day long. That is ten less pills per day to consume than if I were depending on Tylenol. Basically one bottle of Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief in the long run is a better buy for effective pain relief and management. It is affordable and one bottle of Family Dollar label 8 to 12 hour relief will last you for 12 days if you take it daily, where a bottle of Tylenol will last you about 3 days.
