75% of the products when you open them usually pour out so fast making you waste some of the shampoo and conditioner. However, I was very pleased with the flow of the Herbal Essences. The thick texture was very pleasing and it gave me the right amount in one shot. I loved the fact the conditioner was not runny nor was the shampoo. The creaminess was a perfect consistency for the hand and the hair. It coated my hair very evenly and rinsed out without having to work overtime.

I am a sucker when it comes to shampoo and conditioner smells. I want my product to smell nice, clean, and not overwhelming. This product has just that. If your looking for a nice fruity sweet scent that will last throughout the day Dangerously Straight Pin Straight is for you. The combination of the honey and pear is very refreshing.

Product Performance

Was my hair pin straight? Does the product live up to it's claims? After shampooing and conditioning I allowed my hair to towel dry for 10 minutes. Then proceeded to comb my hair.

Because my hair is extremely curly, I wasn't expecting my hair to come out pin straight like the product advertised. Only for the fact NOT one shampoo or conditioner REALLY makes your hair straight just from just washing it. And trust me, I experienced with a lot of products in my time.

Pros

My hair was EXTREMELY soft

The curls were NOT kinky or frizzy. My hair had a very soft wave to it.

The smell was awesome, lasted till the next day, and I'm a smoker.

I didn't have to apply ANY other hair products like I usually do. No hair serum, or frizz product was needed even with the flat iron.

Cut my time in half, due to NO tangles in the hair.

My hair was very shiny. Did I mention how soft it was? OMG! I have to mention it again my hair was like silk.

Only had to use a very small amount. Wonderful consistency and texture.

Cons

To be perfectly honest with you there wasn't any. I enjoyed the way it worked so much, I used it on my daughter's hair and I even went to the store and bought some more of the product because it was on sale. Better to stock up on it now before the shelves run empty.

Summary Overall

Would I recommend Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Pin Straight Shampoo and Conditioner? 100% yes, I definitely would. However, if your hair is extremely thick and curly DO NOT expect your hair to be completely straight afterwards. Once you use the flat iron your hair is going to look amazing. Lots of shine, and it DOES lay down flat.

For people who have just a very slight wave to their hair, yes this will make your hair pin straight. But remember, if your NOT looking for flat and straight hair, DO NOT use this product then. This product should have been called " Herbal Essence Super Soft and Friendly Pin Straight Hair." Why friendly? I'm not sure about you, but whenever I get a new hair product I always read the entire bottle even the fine print. I guess that's the beautician in me. And what had me laughing was the cute sayings on it like " Can I Be Straight With You?" It was almost like my shampoo and conditioner were asking to be friends with me, how cute is that? But of course after trying Herbal Essences Dangerously Straight Pin Straight Shampoo and Conditioner they are going to be my new best friend until another prospect comes into play. And the cute trivia question on each bottle was awesome as well.

How would I score this product?

Two thumbs up all the way. On a scale of 1-10, definitely a 10 for softness, 10 for shine, 10 for consistency, 10 for smell, and a 9 for straightness (For extremely curly hair)Otherwise a big fat 10 for straightness on other hair textures. Great product, go out and invest in some, you won't be disappointed.
