A Product Review of the Kettler Air Happy Tricycle

Katie
When my son's second birthday was approaching, we were torn on what to get him for his big day. We have so many toys, too many, and we decided to invest our money on an outside toy that would grow with him for a couple years... a tricycle.

After much research, we settled on the Kettler Air Happy with Pushbar. The tricycle itself is adorable in primary colors of red, yellow and blue. It's small, but not too small. The seat is adjustable, you can move it both forward and back until you find the right position for your toddler.

The Pushbar is perfect for parents when assisting their new rider on learning to pedal. We have taken many walks where my son has decided he was done pedaling and we've simply pushed him right home with no trouble whatsoever. The Pushbar is also detachable so when your big kid is ready to take off on his own, you can easily remove the bar and he's on his way! Kettler's patented Navigational Steering System allows parents to easily lock the back wheels to stop your child from moving as well as adjusting the steering so pushing with the Pushbar is a breeze. While using the Pushbar, the pedals can be converted to Auto mode, which allows children to simply rest their feet on the pedals and enjoy the ride.

The assembly wasn't too difficult, but it also wasn't that easy because the directions didn't include words, only pictures. We had to figure out which piece went where before we started assembly but overall, the process was easy enough to be done in about an hour.

The Kettler Air Happy with Pushbar is a solid tricycle. The weight is nice, your child will not topple over, and it also isn't so heavy that he will have trouble navigating. The seat is comfortable, and you can purchase accessories such as a basket, a safety belt and a bell for additional fun.

I'm so glad we invested in a solid tricycle for my son, when he outgrows it, it will still be in great shape for our second child. The frame is well built; the surface resists scratches and dings. Overall, I could not be more pleased. My son has enjoyed countless hours on his bike and I know that he is riding a dependable product because Kettler is a name brand I trust.
