A Quatrain Guessing Game
It has four holes
After it buttons, zippers or snaps
It can be solid, striped or other
It can be smooth or knapped.
The next has two holes
In one and out the other
A zipper, button or elastic band
Can hold it all together
The one that's next can be
Three holed in all
It can replace the second
Or go under it in the Fall
Finish it off
With two one holed things
They come in pairs
One can have strings
The first is a shirt
The second one a skirt
The third is pants
Any colors will work
Last of all
are socks and shoes
The strings could be buckles
Or Velcro too
Put them all together
And you've been dressed
From head to toe
That would be best
