A Rant on Blanche Lincoln and Mary Landrieu Signing Their Own Political Death Warrants

These Two Are Either Really Stupid, Really Dizzy, or Have a Personal Line to God's Ear to Hope They Don't Get Booted Out of Office

I am sure by now most people are aware of the huge debate concerning Obama's attempt to socialize the healthcare system in America and tax people who don't buy health insurance. There are various little goodies and side deals that Obama has made with groups like the AMA, AARP, drug companies and other groups to get support and his goons are trying to whip senators and reps into shape to vote for this bill that over 60% of Americans do not want. When you factor in the people who will actually pay for it and don't want something for nothing (people who want something for nothing usually vote liberal) that figure probably eclipses 90%. I find it ironic that two ladies, I am using that term loosely as of this writing, would support this bill. Both are from southern states that voted heavily against having Obama as president.

The system is broken and needs to be fixed but these two and others have to know that this will just lead to a bait and switch bill by the ultra liberal majority in the Democratic Party. This measure will probably become law by one or two votes. This is probably going to be like the elections of 1994 again when senators and representatives did not vote the way their constituents wanted and voted the way bill Clinton wanted. Many found their butts out of office at the next election.

Here are some of my thoughts of why they did it and some of the trickery and hypocrisy in their motives. Fist off both ladies (see note on term ladies) oppose many parts of the bill like the public option and increasing government even more. This right there is reason enough to kill this bill. Lincoln said herself that in Arkansas there is only one insurance company (I don't believe that is accurate) for people to chose. I am not an Obama puppet like them but I would say this bill should start with letting insurance companies sell across state lines. This way if the companies still screw up the liberals can say they gave them an opportunity. Obama has been quoted in the past that his ultimate desire is a single payer system. I have previously written an article on what I think is wrong with the bill and some ideas people with brains would use rather than socialism.

I believe both Landrieu and Lincoln are aware this could cost them their political careers for many reasons. One being that Obama is growing less popular especially in their home states. What I think they are doing is voting to debate the bill and will vote to end debate on the bill knowing they can save face with unintelligent supporters on both sides. I think both will vote against the bill since it will only require fifty votes plus Joe Biden to become law after all the various versions are reconciled. Both Blanche Lincoln and Mary Landrieu can vote for cloture but against the bill each time and still have it become law. Many other democrats from southern states or heavily republican and anti-Obama or socialism areas will follow suite and use this technique. By voting to allow debate they can say to their handlers and the false prophet Obama that they made sure the bill went through. They can tell the people of their states that they voted against the bill because they knew it was not good for their state or America. Intelligent people will see through the wickedness and see the technique that I just elaborated on. They are using a Trojan horse type theme. They are making one vote they know will pass the bill and claiming to disavow passing the bill because they vote against. All involved know darn well the first vote will allow the bill to sneak into law. Both are against the public option but it can get in there as can tax funded abortions this same way. This allows the two of them to vote against the bill but using this cleaver trick in order to save face on both sides. Also people should understand that it is very funny that both waited until the last minute to make this decision and were probably beaten by their masters to do this. Also Landrieu is getting over 100 million for Louisiana. I am all for helping the people of your state, but this is a plain sellout and they will be taxed more for that. This also does not take into account all of the job loss this bill can create (see my other article).

In the South there are some democrats in senate positions that answer to all the people of the state. They can't be gerrymandered like Congressional districts where you only answer to a portion of your state. Mary Landrieu ( D LA), Blanche Lincoln ( D AR facing re-election), Mark Pryor ( D AR), Mark Warner ( D VA), Jim Webb ( D VA facing re-election in 2012), Kay Hagan ( D NC), as well as some senators from areas not in the south that are rather conservative places like Nebraska, and Montana. As far as the two ladies (see note) in my article will probably see at least one of them lose their job over this. Or several of the other southern democrats mentioned. They will try the defense I alluded to above to try to appeal to the people who want conservative democrats and not Obama puppets. Many of the senators elected since 2006 also only won because of the fact that people were so ticked at Bush. I am sure there will be plenty feeling the same about Obama. All Franken, Jim Webb, Mark Begich ( D AK) all won by very slim margins and I think most people know they were aided by backlash against Bush. Also in the case of Begich I am sure he would not be in the Senate had the politically motivated charges against Ted Stevens. Former Governor Sarah Palin called for Begich to resign after the charges were set aside to allow for a special election. He refused and I can't really blame him. Since he is power hungry and knows he did not stand a chance without those charges hanging over Stevens head. He said he plans to serve his full six year term. I think that is all the time he will serve in the senate and I am sure he is very aware of this. That vote only proves this more.

Healthcare is tough but America is more important than giving Obama what he wants. There are way too many back room deals that don't see very proper to me with the whole thing. I am sure many American s will feel the same way. We will probably have Obama in the house formerly known as the white house for another term based on how sick our society has become and the fact that some ethnic groups will mindlessly vote for him even though many have no basic understanding of politics or his policy. Many just know he wants change or that he is half black. Should people even be allowed to vote if they don't know issues that affect all Americans? Some basic intelligence to keep the right to vote is not horrible. It would probably have kept us from many mistakes in office.

Thanks for reading my article. God bless you and may God bless and help America.

well the "lady" in arkansas did not lose her job yet, but she did just barely win a primary and still has voters really ticked about her healthcare votes. she may have voted against the final reconcilliation bill but she did vote for the senate bill and did allow the bill to become law with procedural votes. It is time to pay the piper. Obama is very unpopular in arkansas and a vote for lincoln is a vote for obama and agaisnt america
