A Raw to Remember

Spy Radio

Last nights episode of Monday Night Raw was filled with surprise. The show kicked off with HHH appearing in the ring. HHH addressed the WWE Universe by talking about the 55 Superstar walk out that took place the previous week. Not only did the WWE Superstars walk out on HHH, the announcers, referees, and various staff members walked out as well. Despite everyone who turned their back on HHH, he was still determined to put on a great show. Luckily for HHH, he did not have to put on a great show all alone. He was soon joined in the ring by John Cena, Sheamus, and CM Punk.

With Cena, Sheamus, and Punk at his side HHH booked a Match. Sheamus would go one on one with Cena while HHH refereed and Punk announced. The Match never came to an end as Vince McMahon made a surprise return. Mr. McMahon returned to inform HHH that the Board of Directors had made the decision to relieve HHH of his duties on Raw. Mr. McMahon also mentioned that no one from the McMahon Family will be put in charge of Raw. Until the Board of Directors is able to find a permanent General Manager for Raw, WWE Executive Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis will fill the role.

Laurinaitis wasted no time stepping into the role as General Manager. Laurinaitis welcomed back the WWE Superstars, announcers, referees, and other staff members as they returned to Raw. With everyone settled in, Laurinaitis made his way to the ring. Once in the ring, Laurinaitis announced the Main Event Match for Vengeance. Laurinaitis announced that WWE Champion Alberto Del Rio would be defending his Championship against John Cena. After announcing the Main Event for Vengeance, Laurinaitis called Jim Ross (JR) into the ring. When JR arrived in the ring, Laurinaitis fired him. Laurinaitis fired JR for walking out on HHH (who gave JR his job back) the week prior.

Firing JR would not be Laurinaitis' last order of business for the night. Laurinaitis appeared on stage during the Main Event. Laurinaitis announced that he had reinstated The Miz and R-Truth. The duo would be competing in a Tag Team Match against Alberto Del Rio and CM Punk. Del Rio left the Match with what appeared to be a knee injury. This allowed The Miz and R-Truth to double team Punk; However, the double team on Punk did not last long as HHH entered the ring to help Punk. HHH's interference in the Match provided Laurinaitis with another idea. Before Raw went off air, Laurinaitis said he would ask the Board of Directors if HHH and CM Punk could face The Miz and R-Truth in a Tag Team Match at Vengeance.

Laurinaitis provided the WWE Universe with 'A Raw To Remember'. Will Laurinaitis continue to provide the WWE Universe with memorable shows? Will Laurinaitis provide a safe working environment for the WWE Superstars or will they walk out on him just like they walked out on HHH?

I am so glad you keep my updated on these as I can't watch them...we don't have a very good selection on your stations here in a small Southern Kansas town.
