A Real Man

Casey
A real man's hands are black

Hard, stained with work

Grease lines the u-shape around his fingernails

The cracks and creases are plain to see

Callused, worked

A real man comes from work tired, beat

Never let you see them break

Never let you know their hurt or pains

I've known the worst

I know the best

I know the ones that pose as tough

But it takes a lot to be a real man

There are so few out there now a days

A rare breed

A real man is...

Nice! It's kinda cool seeing the world through your eyes. :-)
