A Really Fun Vehicle-the Jeep Wrangler

I believe I finally found the perfect vehicle. For me, anyway. I'm sure many people would laugh at the idea that the Jeep Wrangler could ever be considered the "perfect vehicle." But for me, the Wrangler is the best vehicle I've ever owned. And I can include in that list a cadillac and a corvette as well as trucks and SUVs.

But quite simply, I would rather drive my jeep as any other vehicle out there. It offers you choices not many other vehicles can offer. The main idea is you have a fun, sporty convertible in the summer and a four wheel drive, "tough" vehicle in the winter. True, it's light weight, so don't get crazy in it. But a jeep will amaze you at the places it can go.

But let's start with one of the main reasons I bought the vehicle. It's cheap. You can buy a brand new Jeep Wrangler for under twenty thousand. Now, I'm talking the cheaper version, not the loaded up type. But hey, the basic Jeep Wrangler has everything you need. Mine has a cd player and air conditioning, because let's face it, sometimes you want air conditioning, especially on those hot, humid days.

The thing I like most about my Jeep Wrangler is the feeling of freedom and exhilaration I get when the top is down and I'm cruising down the highway. And you don't know what you're missing until you find yourself in four wheel drive easing down a sandy beach with the ocean waves breaking along beside you. You feel so close to nature. To me, there is no better form of relaxation.

Of course, there are a couple of drawbacks to the Jeep Wrangler. One is it takes a little time to put the cloth top on. So if you get caught in a rainstorm, you'd better find yourself a service station with a canopy. But then, what's a little rain? The Jeep Wrangler is also a little noisy with the cloth top. It took a little getting used to the noise with the top on. When it's off, you don't care. You can eliminate the noise problem by getting one with a hard top. This makes the Jeep Wrangler even better, especially in the winter months.

All in all, I really enjoy my Jeep Wrangler. In the summer and fall, the top stays off most of the time. The fun of driving a Jeep Wrangler can only be experienced first hand. A co-worker of mine asked me about mine, saying he was thinking of buying one. I told him how much I enjoyed mine and then forgot about the conversation. About two months later, I was talking to him and he told me he had bought one. He said he agreed it was the best vehicle he had ever owned. He said the only problem he had was that everyone in the family wanted to drive it, meaning his wife and teenage kids. He said he'd go out to go somewhere and his jeep would be gone. I just laughed and told him I knew how that was. Really, it is a jeep thing. You have to try it to believe it.
