A Reflection

Erika Lee
At times when I am alone,
When moments of life are painfully gone,
Dozing in between lines,
Wondering what really shines.

At parties when I am surrounded,
When thousands of melodies blended,
Covering what was lost,
Wondering what matters most.

See it doesn't take a mile,
To forget what seemed worth while,
See it won't harm anyone,
To let go what you don't own.

At present time when I am here,
When stars are gone and the rainbow dissapears,
I look in to the mirror to find something true,
And I see you.
