A Relationship Unmasked

A.M. Morgan
This starts as no fairytale

There is no Prince Charming or Cinderella story to tell

Two people greet simply for fun

Similar but different the getting to know each other phase has begun

From the start they both conceal how they really feel

Pretending that each moment has nothing to reveal

In this case actions lie but the eyes speak the truth

Casual smiles mean something while their curious hearts remain unmoved

People wonder and often speculate on what will be their fate

It hasn't been that long but it gets more promising by the day

There are still many questions but of the answers they are still both afraid

It's a balancing act in a struggle for equilibrium to be attained

This is not a perfect match and can be easily described as a trip on a slow train

It's obvious that of each other they are both intrigued

However, the relationship will remain unmasked while it's still developing

  • Single Man without a clue to unmask10/15/2009

I sit uncomfortably somewhat single aging by the day with internal inquiries that make me wander if I'll ever have the oppty to unmask my feelings to someone other than my Mother...Will I step out of my mannish setways and open the dome up to all of the true certifiable fans of Love...Until then, I remain Mr.SINK without a loveclue.
