A Review of 1001 Rules for My Unborn Son

A Website/book of 1001 Rules that Any Boy or Man (and Many Women) Should Know in General

K.M. Stockton
I stumbled upon this site by complete accident on day. (You can find it here.) Then I immediately bookmarked it and check back periodically to see if new rules appear. I don't think any have recently, because the 1001 Rules for My Unborn Son have now been compiled in book form.

Go to the site, really. Read some of them. Buy the book if you love it - especially if you're a father. I, myself, am a nineteen-year-old girl, but I still loved it and valued it. It is a list of values, standards and morals that men don't seem to practice much any more, such as "never turn a girl's invitation to dance", which is Rule 206.

It covers all bases of life from women to sports, baseball to pets - even how it is appropriate to get a tan and how it is appropriate to wear sunglasses. It touches every base in short, sweet, to-the-point rules that say what they mean and make a point.

The Author
"1001 Rules for My Unborn Son" was created and written by Walker Lamond. It is on sale here.

Walker Lamond is both a writer and a television producer. He has made documentaries that have appeared on channels such as the Discovery Channel, National Geographic Channel, HBO and TruTV. He has also written for more than one publication, including Valet, Babble, Asylum and the Stop Smiling magazine.

Currently he lives in Washington, D.C., with his wife and his recently-born baby son. His son arrived shortly after he finished his book "1001 Rules for My Unborn Son".

The Book
You can buy the book many places, online and in person, at book store chain such as Barnes and Noble. You can also buy it from online stores like Amazon.com. The website gives a complete list and address and/or link to places where it is sold.

It is a relatively cheap book and will probably run you somewhere between ten and fifteen dollars.

My Recommendations
I would recommend it to everyone. It's short, and it's valid. It's easy to read while being simultaneously incredibly powerful on all aspects of life. Whether you read it for the humor or for the life lessons (preferably both), it is well worth the money and the time.

Who knows? Maybe by reading this book you might learn a lesson applicable to your own life. Or maybe you'll just get a good chuckle out of it. Either way, read it.
